" I received a call one day from a lady who needed an emergency inspection on her vehicle. She was from out of town and while she was passing through on a nearby highway, she hit a large rock and broke down. All of our technicians were booked solid and we did not have anyone to spare, so one of our sales managers elected to help out and take a look at the vehicle. Upon inspecting the damages, we found that the rock had broken a hole into the transmission and it had lost all of its fluid. During the inspection process, I got the chance to get to know this woman coming through town. She knits hats for homeless people with a group of women. This group has to meet a certain quota of hats made and she had already knitted triple the amount of hats that her counterparts had made. We spoke at length about her ministry as she was knitting away, hat after hat. She nearly spent the entire day in our lobby blessing us with amazing and uplifting stories. Once I had received the news of her vehicle, I relayed it to her and to my surprise she was relieved by the news and happy to simply have a resolution to her car problem. She felt so taken care of by us fitting her in and keeping her company, that even though her vehicle was no longer worth fixing, she left as a happy and satisfied customer. She got a rental vehicle from a nearby rental car place and was able to complete her travels to her destination. We later received a box in the mail from her. The contents of this package included a knitted hat for each person that helped her with her vehicle. She also had a thank you card in the box expressing her gratitude with all of our names written on it. Even though it was difficult to fit her vehicle in that day and the vehicle’s transmission was condemned, it is hard for me to remember how stressful that day might have been. I instead only have fond memories of that day and how I got to be a part of a blessing for this woman who, by chance, stumbled upon our shop here in Franklin Tennessee. I still have the hat and I wear it during the wintertime and it still serves as a beautiful reminder of that special day. " - Jordan Redwine, Assistant Manager
